Casual role with potential for permanent part-time
A brand-new café and general store is opening in Ledgerwood in early 2026, and we’re looking for someone special to help bring it to life.
If you’re a passionate home cook, have previous cooking or kitchen experience, and love being part of a friendly, community-focused environment, this could be the perfect fit.
About the Role:
We’re searching for someone who can confidently support the day-to-day operations of a small café/general store, with a strong focus on back-of-house tasks, including:
- Food preparation
- Maintaining excellent food safety practices
- Keeping a clean, organised workspace
- Delivering warm, genuine customer service when needed
This role is predominantly kitchen/food prep based, with plenty of opportunity to bring your ideas and flair.
Hours & Availability:
- Shifts available between 6am – midday
- Days negotiable for the right candidate
- Casual position with the possibility of moving into a permanent part-time role
- Start date: Early January 2026
