The Position

Located at the Lost Farm site, Barnbougle Spa offers guests an exceptional Spa experience with unrivalled views of the beach and ocean. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spa Manager to join our team. 

The Spa Manager will be responsible for the efficient daily operations of the spa. Leading a team of spa therapists, you will ensure staff have a clear understanding of their role and deliverables and that they are engaged, motivated and skilled to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Spa Manager will work closely with the General Manager to drive guest service excellence and manage financial performance. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Planning and management of  the day-to-day operations of the spa, delivering exceptional service offer to guests 
  • Creating an optimal working environment where you lead, engage, and develop a high performing team of therapists in-line with our values
  • Management of the Financial Performance of the spa including: achieving spa budget & KPI’s, forecasting targets and roster management
  • Managing spa human resourcing, recruiting, onboarding and training therapists to ensure they meet the standards in place for the facility
  • Maintain the high standards and benchmarking that has been a vital role in the success of Barnbougle
  • Procure equipment, supplies and materials within budgetary limitations
  • Maintain equipment and product inventory
     

The ideal candidate will offer the following:

  • A strong understanding of spa operations and team management, with a proven track record in delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Previous experience in the spa and wellness field, with a passion for the services industry 
  • Previous leadership experience demonstrating the ability to inspire and guide teams towards collective success
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, embracing the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry and prioritising operational excellence
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel) and previous experience using an electronic booking system
  • Be motivated to achieve KPIs and inspire your team with your high level of customer service
  • Display strong communication skills and excellent personal presentation 
  • Be highly organised and exhibit great time management skills
