Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Education Facility Attendant to join our team on a casual basis. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within an education facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, staff offices, and common areas
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Wiping and disinfecting high-touch surfaces (tables, desks, door handles, etc.)
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces as required
- Emptying rubbish bins and maintaining waste areas
- Ensuring all areas are kept tidy, hygienic, and presentable
Skills & Requirements
- A current WWVP (Working With Vulnerable People) Card – Employment
- Completion of the 2026 Safeguarding Certificate (must be completed prior to starting; link can be provided)
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
Employment Details
- Type: Casual
- Minimum Hours: 5.5 hours per week
- Regular Shift: Fridays, 12:30pm – 6:30pm
- Additional Hours: Potential for additional shifts on other days
