Scottsdale Football Club – AFL Level 1 & Level 2 Sports Trainers

Scottsdale Football Club is seeking enthusiastic and committed Sports Trainers (Level 1 and Level 2) to join our team for the 2026 NTFA season.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a proud, community-focused club while supporting the health, performance and wellbeing of our players.

About the Role/s:

We are looking for reliable, game-day and/or training-day trainers to support our Senior men’s and women’s teams throughout the 2026 season.

Duties Include: 

  • Game day and training support 
  • Injury prevention and basic treatment 
  • Taping (ankles, shoulders, thumbs, wrists, etc.) 
  • First aid response and injury management 
  • Liaising with coaches, players and medical professionals 
  • Matchday paperwork and reporting (as required)

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in player well-being 
  • AFL Level 1 or Level 2 Sports Trainer qualification (or willingness to obtain prior to season start with support from the Club) 
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification 
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • A professional, calm and supportive approach with players 
  • Reliability for rostered trainings and/or games
