Moxxi is Tasmania’s short-stay partner built on sharp systems and real care. We handle the details from bookings to cleaning so owners enjoy higher returns and guests enjoy homes that feel good the moment they arrive. We have properties in Bridport and are taking on more properties in the Winnaleah and Derby area, so we are seeking cleaning staff to join our team.

Your role is to meticulously clean and prepare our properties, ensuring every home is perfect for guest arrival. You are responsible for executing the final, thoughtful touches that define a premium Moxxi stay, contributing to an exceptional and memorable guest experience. 

Position Objectives

  • Property Presentation: Performing high quality, detailed cleaning of properties to an immaculate standard, ensuring all company cleaning checklists are completed. 
  • Guest Experience: Adding thoughtful, signature touches that make a Moxxi stay memorable, including (but not limited to) perfectly plumped cushions, styled beds, and flawless final checks. 
  • Inventory & Stocking: Ensuring every property is consistently stocked with all required guest amenities, consumables, and supplies according to company standards.
  • Linen Management: Assisting with picking and packing linen orders, managing laundry drop offs/pickups, and ensuring linen is correctly placed in properties. 
  • People & Culture: Working collaboratively with the operations team to ensure the company’s promise of a “sorted stay” is delivered. This includes promptly reporting any maintenance defects, property damage, or low inventory levels. 
  • Workplace Health & Safety: Comply with the regulatory requirements of all relevant legislation, standards and codes pertaining to the functions of your role. Comply with compliance obligations imposed upon you within the employer’s policies and procedures as they relate to your employment. Risk Management: Manage risks associated with operations, contractors, and service delivery. Comply with risk management policies and procedures. Safety:  Comply with company workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures. Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and the health and safety of other people including people working under your supervision or direction who may be affected by your acts or omission at the workplace, in accordance with current Tasmanian WHS legislation.  Report all incidents in accordance with Moxxi reporting protocols. Comply with company and legislative requirements in respect to workers compensation pertaining to return to work. Attend training associated with WHS, as advised. Follow safe manual‑handling procedures. Operate warehouse and laundry equipment safely.

Education & Qualifications (Required)

  • Current driver’s licence with reliable, roadworthy, and insured vehicle for travel between properties. 
  • WHS / manual handling readiness.

Experience (Desirable)

  • Experience in laundry, cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and in after‑hours settings.
