Longwood Dairy Farm is seeking a capable and motivated Leading Farm Hand to work closely alongside the Dairy Farm Manager in the day-to-day running of our dairy operation.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in pasture management, cow health, and team leadership who can confidently contribute to herd performance, farm efficiency, and the smooth daily operation of the farm. And someone that has an interest in Dairy Farming and looking to build your skills.

About the Role
- Full-time position
- Accommodation provided
- Support daily farm operations and staff
- Participate in milking roster
- Operate and maintain farm machinery
- Assist with herd health and pasture management
- Contribute to overall farm productivity and efficiency
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have 2–3 years’ dairy farming experience
- Have machinery operating experience
- Be physically fit and in good health
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have strong communication, work ethic, and people leadership skills
- Have experience or understanding of pasture budgeting
- Be reliable, motivated, and willing to take initiative
