Dorset Employment Connect and Break O’Day Employment Connect are seeking expressions of interest to join their Management Committee.
The purpose of the Dorset Employment Connect / Break O’Day Employment Connect Management Committee is to deliver Regional Jobs Hub services and related projects in the area covering the Dorset and Break O’Day local government areas as well as the northern part of the Glamorgan-Spring Bay local government area encompassing Bicheno and Coles Bay. The activities and services of the Job Hubs are delivered according to the requirements of an Agreement with the Tasmanian Government.
Dorset Employment Connect and Break O’Day Employment Connect Management Committee operates as a management committee of East Tas Education and Employment (ETEE) Ltd which is the responsible legal entity.
The objectives and goals of Dorset Employment Connect and Break O’Day Employment Connect are to:
- Address barriers to employment experienced by job seekers and employers
- Increase employment
- Increase workforce participation
- Increase engagement with formal education and training
