Triple H Contracting has a full time role based in Scottsdale Tasmania. This is a new and unique opportunity to join the expanding business.
What you will be doing
- Manage and oversee the efficient harvesting of timber across multiple sites.
- Ensure high standards and compliance is upheld to meet industry standards.
- Provide strong leadership and drive workplace culture.
- Analyse operations performance data to identify areas for improvements and implement strategic solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company operational policies and procedures
What we are looking for
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality and efficient results
- Excellent communication skills to foster a culture of innovation and productivity in the workplace
- Problem-Solving Ability to identifying risks and taking decisive action to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Experience in the operating of harvesting machinery is not necessarily but an advantage.
- Proficiency and adaptability with technology & software
Job Role
- Oversee day-to-day running’s of the harvesting and haulage side of the business
- Scheduling of trucks
- Manage and schedule harvest operations and attend start ups
- Coupe data preparation and maintenance including FOS Plans and uploading completed coupe documentation.
- Harvest and haulage reporting, extraction of data for reporting and identify areas for improvement. Ensure expected outputs are being met.
- Complete audits, quality assurance checks and toolbox meetings.
- Promote WHS systems, culture and identify risks and opportunities.
- Organise training and if applicable assist with training new operators in machines.

Triple H Contracting – Hall Harvesting & Haulage is a family owned and operated business, based around Tasmania. With humble beginnings, (back in 2007 with a 2-man crew), we have significantly expanded since then – with operations in both pine and hardwood clear fall and thinning’s, in the South, East & Northeast of Tasmania- employing 25 people and 6 sub-contractors, which are engaged in a range of activities.
Our harvest systems have been designed to comply with forest certification standards. This means we operate within world best practice standards for environmental, safety, economic and social impacts.
