Job Title: Part Time Property Maintenance

About Us
Derby Digs runs short term accommodation properties in and around Derby. We pride ourselves on offering clean, well kept, welcoming spaces for guests. To help us maintain high standards, we’re seeking a to fill a Part Time Property Maintenance role, to carry out general upkeep and chore tasks.
What You’ll Do
- Cleaning and maintaining BBQs
- Weeding garden beds
- Weed spraying where required
- Cobweb removal
- Firewood stacking / organising
- Deck cleaning
- Other general property upkeep chores as needed
Hours & Commitment
- Approximately 2 to 4 hours per week, depending on demand
- Flexibility is important — some weeks may need more, some less
- Training is provided, so prior experience isn’t essential
Pay & Conditions
- $18 to $22 per hour (depending on experience)
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual, and conscientious
- Can take direction and work independently
- Has basic physical fitness (able to bend, lift, walk, climb small ladders)
- Has or is willing to learn safe working practices (e.g. weed spraying)
- Lives in or near Derby (or is willing to travel locally)
