As we prepare for our busy spring and summer visitor season, Bridestowe is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join our friendly team. About the Role
We have seasonal positions available with flexible shifts throughout the spring and summer months. As a Retail Assistant, you’ll help create an enjoyable shopping experience for visitors from across Australia and around the world.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, professional customer service to every visitor.
- Assisting customers with product selection and sharing knowledge about Bridestowe’s range of lavender products, gifts, and local produce.
- Processing sales accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintaining attractive product displays and ensuring the store is well-stocked and beautifully presented.
- Assisting with merchandising, stock replenishment, and stock rotation.
- Keeping the retail space clean, organised, and welcoming.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an exceptional visitor experience during busy trading periods.
- Helping guests find the perfect souvenir or gift to remember their visit.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking people who are reliable, approachable, and enjoy providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A warm, motivated, friendly, and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
- A willingness to learn about our products and confidently share that knowledge with customers.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and peak visitor periods.
- Previous retail experience is an advantage, but not essential—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
