Job Description

We are currently seeking caring, reliable, motivated and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide in-home support.

A team member who is genuinely passionate about making a difference in someone’s daily life. 

About the Role:

This role involves afternoon, evenings and overnight shifts, focusing on personal care and domestic assistance. 

As a support worker, you will provide one-on-one support to clients, assisting them to live more independently and comfortably, whether it be at home or out in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the client with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
  • Supporting morning and evening routines
  • Meal preparation and light domestic tasks
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Ensuring the clients’ comfort and safety overnight 
  • Daily assistance 
  • Mentoring and skill development 

Requirements: 

  • WWVP Registration
  • Current Police check
  • Current CPR & First Aid
  • Full driver’s license
  • Own reliable car
  • Full comprehensive car insurance
  • Cert III or IIII In individual support or community services or working towards
  • Medication endorsement an advantage
  • Can speak fluent English
